In the years of this 21st century, the Philosophy of education and the teaching of philosophy, particularly in Colombia and Latin America, have become fields of action and deep reflection. Since they bring into discussion the relationship of philosophies with their past, with institutions, and necessarily lead us to ask about their work in the present and their conditions in the future. Theoretical debates and the confrontation of perspectives have been gaining strength, as evidenced by the academic production derived from research results, and the reflections made by philosophy teachers in philosophy faculties or programs as well as in university education training spaces. A good number of publications of magazine articles and books, as well as content in radio formats, blogs and others made possible by internet platforms and social networks, account for this fruitful and necessary intellectual production in an area that is equally important and necessary for training and philosophical work in Colombia and Latin America. Furthermore, is notable the periodic holding of international and national conferences and associations that have as important node the teaching of philosophy and its relationship with discourse and educational praxis.
