Abstract

In this work a brief approach to the narrative identity as a bridge between two types of identity constituents of human, namely: the selfhood and the sameness. For this purpose will have as base the proposal of the French philosopher Paul Ricoeur, who makes a study about the narrative identity, and who shows this kind of identity as the enabler of the dialectic between the variable (ipse) and the same (idem) in a personal identity. So that, first, the difference between selfhood and sameness are displayed, second, will be exposed from the Ricoeurian proposal, the narrative identity as a bridge between idem and ipse, that is, as something that can subject components reconciling two seemingly opposite and which are exclusive.
